About the Book

Colonel Saif Ul Islam Khan, with over twenty seven years with the Indian Army, has experiences ranging from functioning at the apex level of military decision making, down to the grass roots where the policies decided germane/ fructify. As a Senior Research Fellow with the United Services Institution of India, he was engaged in research on China and the transformation of People's Liberation Army to undertake wars in high technology environment. His previous research assignment, with the College of Naval Warfare and the Mumbai University, was on the impact of Chinese Military Modernisation on India.

The book is a project work of United Service Institution of India, India's oldest military  Think Tank.
