About the Author

Dr. Syed Shahid Ali s/o Syed Shafqat Ali was born in Delhi. He holds a Ph.d in Islamic Studies. He is currently an Associate Professor in the department of Islamic Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia (central university), Delhi-110025 (India). He has been teaching the subject of Islamic Studies for the last two decades. He has vast research experience in Islamic Studies. He is the author of numerous books and research articles. His writings are available in English, Urdu and Hindi. He is a distinguished academician, specializing in the multidisciplinary study of Islam and Muslims.
